PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

Participation in the Conference is by formal invitation. The invitations will be sent until August 10, 2019.

ARRIVAL

Participants are expected to arrive on September 22-23, 2019.

SITE OF THE CONFERENCE

The Conference will be hosted in Tashkent in the State Museum of History of Timurids (near  hotel UZBEKISTAN).

LODGING

The participants will be accommodated in hotel UZBEKISTAN (single room - $60 and twin bed - $85).

We can also offer rooms in the hostel of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences “LABZAK” (up to $30 per night, about 2km from conference site).

Please note that we do not warranty hotel reservation in case of not receiving requests later than 20 August.

The hotel payment can be done either in cash or by Visa card.

CONFERENCE FEES

Conference fee is 50 USD for participants from Uzbekistan, 150 USD for participants from the CIS countries and 200 USD dollars for participants from other countries. The Conference fee covers the Conference receptions, the Conference proceedings and coffee breaks. The Conference fee can be paid by Uzbek sums in cash at registration, as well till September 10, 2019 by money transfer to the bank account of Institute of Nuclear Physics:

PRESENTATIONS

The Conference will include plenary sessions (invited and review talks up to 25-30 min) and parallel section sessions with original reports (up to 15 min).

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Participants who need visas are requested to contact to Ms. Makhtuba Kadyrova via e-mail kadyrova@inp.uz till August 1, 2019. List of countries for visa-free entry to Uzbekistan will be published on the website of the conference. Please note that participants from some EU counties and US do not need visas for period of stay up to one month.

TASHKENTthe capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the administrative centre of the Tashkent region, the largest city of the country, its major cultural and spiritual centre. It is situated in the north-eastern part of the Republic, in the in the Chirchik river basin, at the altitude of 440-480 meters above the sea level. To the north-east of Tashkent one can see the snowcaps of the Great and small Chimgan Mountains, and spurs of the Tien Shan. The History of Tashkent can be traced from the II-nd century BC under different names: Shash, Chach, Binkent. First records of the Tashkent as the name are found in the works of Beruni dated back to the XI-th century.

The climate of Tashkent is temperate continental climate. Usually, at the last decade of September it is sunny and dry. Average daytime and nighttime temperature varies between 25-300С and 15-200С, respectively. However, it rains sometimes.

Capital guests, by visiting bazaars, shops, souvenir booths, museums or hospitable private houses, can with pleasure have an opportunity to get acquainted with the traditional handcrafts, and folklore art.
